Guest Anonymous
Hey, I'm looking for a way to directly transfer CDs to a stereo mode on the MD, not the encoded LP2 or LP4. Just the straight 80 min per disc Stereo mode. Any programs or anything out there to help? thanks, porter pglock@vt.edu (please e-mail me if you know)
mAjEsTiC
if you're thinking of doing it through the USB interface via NetMD then the simple answer is no...u can't get CD -> MD through "true" SP mode...you have to do it via real-time using analogue or digital cables...basically you can use any program that plays back CD's and record through your outputs normally... BerkY
Yea you have to play it real-time and record it from a HiFi system that has a digital (optical) out. I have not used my optical cable as yet since I am utterly happy with the LP2 transger speed of "so-called" 32x. Well at least its faster than real-time. But then again the quality is not SP-quality. No worries tho as LP2 is fine for me ears
Guest Anonymous
Cool, thanks for the answers. I'm an audio nut and I actually really don't mind LP2 mode at all, it suits me just fine, even when MP3s under 192 don't. Although, I don't use great headphones with m MD, it's for walking to class and such. The reason I was wondering about Stereo recording is for a radio station I have a show at. thanks, porter
