mAjEsTiC
it's an ok model...it depends by ur definition of durable though...
BerkY
It is an entry level model. Quite basic and will get things done. Doesnt any of the funky features like the N10 and the N910. But its anti-shock protection is excellent, like all Sony's. Also it doesnt have a MIC IN so you will have to use a POWERED MICROPHONE from the LINE IN to be able record live... Cheers BerkY
mAjEsTiC
i wouldn't say that the Sony's shock protection is excellent in that it's practically flawless...there are flaws and it shows up on some units more than others (i.e. the E500 player i have in my possession atm seems to be playing up)...but this seems to be an isolated problem so it's nothing to worry about...it is however one of the best shock-protection mechanisms out there atm... BerkY
Well yea for me it is excellent. I had a crappy CD player which really annoyed me even walking on the street elt alone running... this is a fresh change. I havent seen it skip once... That for me excellent. Although it has been only 3 weeks since i have the N910, the g-protection is working flawlessly. (touch wood )
