mAjEsTiC
u can download the program from here...u need it to d/l music to your MD...also you only need a USB port to be able to connect it from PC -> MD...
BerkY
Though he will still need the driver and for that he will need the CD. I have the CD as I have an N910 but I cant post it anywhere... hmm... Without the drivers the MD wont be recognised. no matter what software you use, even sonicstage. fazed
does anyone know if this driver has a special sort of name,or is it just called sony md driver :?:
mAjEsTiC
i'm not 100% sure if the drivers that came with the N10 will work with that unit but it's worth a shot...i've u/l those drivers to my ftp site which can be found here...if not then i'm sure BerkY can maybe somehow get them over to u... Bazirker
Sony should definetly have the driver on their support page, give that a shot.
BerkY
I havent seen Sony have drivers on their website. At least not on their European website. Only SonicStage... I am seriously thinking of backing up the CD just in case i lose it (which is quite hard but then again anything can happen in the world we live in). And yea Sony should have drivers on their website. I think they are doing this on purpose to force ppl into buying new units rather than used units off eBay etc.
mAjEsTiC
i haven't seen them on the asia or australasia websites either...maybe it's just region specific??? just a thought...
BerkY
Nah not region specific... they just dont have drivers full-stop. you would have to contact sony personally and ask their assistance ie. a new drivers CD. Which would be a painful process mind you
Bazirker
Wow, Sony changed their support page, they used to have the drivers.... Well, cause I was wrong, and went and found them for ya. Has anyone ever seen this link before? Looks like a goldmine if you ask me... http://www.vchewjr.addr.com/download.htm
BerkY
WOW!!! Looks like this site is going to experience real bandwith problems in the next couple of days Just look at it... It has basically everything an MD user might need. Its more than just a gold mine! Enjoy downloading people...
