Yes true but I have to load up Daemon Tools for that. Mount the image file to the virtual drive... then record it. I will have to use that program title the tracks. I am using three programs just to make an md. Beats the purpose of making quick on the fly copies. I have a lot of audio cds anyway so I just pop em in the drive and copy them using simple burner... smile.gif

Yeh I read about Dino's method and it works well. But yes, still is a hassle. I hate using programs like SonicSage , Real player etc, just because they tend to take over your mp3 player, and I noticed SonicSage used almost 90MB of memory when playing an MP3... (??) yeh I am going to use Dino's method for now...

Uhm a question any of you guys tried the linux programs? how well do they worked as I Know they are coded by the public and not by sony, how probable is it to code a program that would just do simple MP3-->ATRAC3-->MD transfer?

nope unfortunately i haven't used the programs on Linux...i would probably say they would be far more stable and encounter less problems than Sony? (since this seems to be the case with Linux as opposed to Windows)...but provided that you have the method to do the conversion making the program isn't that hard...it's just the Mp3->ATRAC->MD transfer algorithm they have to get right...
