Won't be ordering online because in Canada it would be a hassle and would love to grab one so I have a media player to use after lacking one for months. Any luck with the preorders? Any luck with the preorders?Well, we won't know if we were lucky with the preorders until they are processed and shipped. I have a unit on preorder from Datavision. They had told a few people that called that the units would be in like last week or this week, then recanted and said a couple more weeks. So I'm expecting they'll actually have them in early May. Minidisc could be pretty big if they'd promote it. Like that article says, they're going to start a new music downloading service. That could be interesting, but I'd still want the ability to get the tracks on a CD, and then rip to MP3. Or if Winamp has a plugin for the ATRAC3+ codec... that would work, since my computer IS my home stereo. And of course, I'd need a HiMD car deck...
