striko_514
Hello, I just want to know if it is possible to record midi file on my MD. If not, is there any solution I can do to convert the midi file to another file? thanks you in advance.
The_Stamp
no, unfortunately, myself, being a midi composer, have to transfer my midis to mp3. why would you want to play your midi on MD anywho? i would suppose that the quality would be sub-standard IMO. i use my sound blaster audigy 2 to play the midi out (with custome GM banks, of course), and i record it to mp3. from there i import it to SS2. if there are midis you want me to convert to good mp3's, just private message me . The_Stamp
i use a midi composer program. i let them play out (using the midi samples selected by me) and i set my soundcard to record what i hear. i dont use midi converters because, like you said, it turns out crappy. The_Stamp
only 110 canadian. being a composer, i thought it was worth every penny. even has a firewire, and the best sound i've ever heard. the soundfont capability is a great addition.
