I did read the service manual for this unit.

I've played in the Test/Manual Mode and I guess I screwed it up.

I did reset my NV settings.

When I turn the unit on I get only Error message.

I still can enter the Test Mode and Manual Mode

Any help how to get the unit work again ?

Patch Writer or NV Writer would maybe help...or any other idea ?

thanks!

You need to follow the alignment procedure. You will need 1 pre-mastered, non-writeable MD (any will do, this is referred to as a "CD" in the jargon) and one blank standard MD ("MO").

The alignment procedure will recalculate all the servo parameters. It's possible to completely ignore it but definitely not recommended.

If you need to you can send to someone. There a couple of people here who may be able to help.

PS.. the patchwriter won't actually help you, it has to do with NetMD mostly.

Here it is anyway
