Difference between MZNH900 and 800? Just the radio?

What is the difference between the MZNH900 and 800. I see that the 800 has a radio, whereas the 900 does not, but I would expect it to be the other way round as the number is higher?

Can anybody explain what the 900 has that the 800 does not? Or what the differences are?

Thanks

Johnny

The NH800 is basically a NH700 plus radio, so is essentially a mid range recorder.

The NH900 is slimmer, uses a rechargeable gumstick and/or AA battery rather than just an AA, so has a longer maximum battery life. It also has a high definition digital amp which should give it a cleaner crisper sound than the NH800. The NH900 also has a line out mode for better connectivity to external audio equipment (amplifiers and such like). It has a better build quality (aluminium front cover) and recording/playback features. Anyway, the NH900 definitely the higher-end unit and worth it for the extra features (apart from tuner).

btw, i just checked the size specifications for the nhf800 and it seems to be 3 CENTIMETRES!!!

is that the thickness of the whole unit? or just the thickness of the battery holder? (like me mz-r500 has a slight bulge at the battery connector area)

i definately cannot buy the 800 if the whole unit is 3 centimetres..... there was no side view in the screenshot area, so i'd have no clue how this compares in size to my mz-r900...
