Fernando Olmos
I've heard of SonicStage, but never tried it. Found it in www.connect.com, but the download starts str8 away! I want to save it first and install it in my own time (Sony does not rule my life!). Does anyone have the COMPLETE latest version on CD ROM, that I may get a copy please? Thanks in advance
iceeedtea
http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?p...ighlight=#25079 Ignore the Admin's post. Follow that and copy the files, then exit the installer. I'd be willing to send you a copy via post, if you needed a physical disc and the airmail cost wasn't too high. Or I could break up the latest build that includes MD Simple Burner 2.0 that is in an ISO image that's in the archive into .7z, .rar, .zip, etc. pieces and have you pull it from my webspace. But try the link first, since that'd be less effort for me.
Christopher
We deleted both hosted builds because we figured there wouldn't be any point since it was hosted at connect.com and people weren't asking for installers. Did a decent number on the bandwidth, anyways. [30-50 gigs a month, iceeed]

Around the amount that RareWares hits each month.
borsuk
Hi, If you want to save the whole thing to install it later or for reinstallation purpose, simply run the installer from connect.com and wait until the download finishes. Then installation on your computer starts asking if you want to proceed. You can now copy the whole install that is saved in a temporary folder c:documents and settings'username'local settingstempwebupgextracted. I can't remeber extactly the name of the part 'webupg', it may be a little different, but the rest is as stated above Bart

PDOG58
Does anyone have the COMPLETE latest version on CD ROM, that I may get a copy please?I talked with a Tech Support person earlier today, she told me that SonicStage 2.1 will be available on CD within a few weeks
Fernando Olmos
Actually, I wouldn't mind the offer of having it burnt on CD, as my dialup line is too slow and my work won't allow me to download it as it's not work related. Thanks to whom ever offered.
borsuk
Since I have the install on my hard drive I could burn a cd and send it to anybody wishing to pay the cost of blank CD and the cost of shipping from Poland
Fernando Olmos
What's your email address? I will email you my address/details. Do you accept payment via PayPal?
Flyer
is it that big? Couldn´t you host it somewhere and we would donwload it?? borsuk
Hi, The full install has 46 MB. If somebody has a space on the web I could upload it there, that's not a problem. If somebody wants me to send a CD with SS 2.1 it's not a problem as well. Since there would be a problem with payment for shipping and a blank CD, you could simply send me a blank MD or MD with with the music you like in exchange. If anybody is interested just PM me. Cheers
Fernando Olmos
Borsuk, You're a genuis man! I got your CD and it works! Of course I came across all the problems with that dreaded "database conversion" error, but I came up with my own fix it routine (click here) I only tried this on my Sharp IMMT899 NetMD unit so I do not know if this will work for Sony users. Anyway thanks again.... I'll mail you something soon, but I need your address. Thanks
