  1. I have a PS3. Granted at the moment, I do not have it plugged up to my Analog A/V Receiver (since I just thought about this here at work) but was curious to know if anyone has ripped an Audio CD in their PS3 in Atrac 352Kbps and then listen to see if they could dell a difference from their minidisc player? I will probably try this later during the weekend when I have a chance to see how this may turn out... (and compare this to the sound of the MDS-JB930)
  2. I wonder how the sound quality is if you plug it in? Will it be same as playing from a regular in dash MD player?
  3. I know it might be a mistake but I really wanting to get the portable one for my needs..... Thanks though.... The DVP S7000 , well I will leave that alone and not sell it. As far as why the picture is going away I dont know, maybe it has something to do with my google photos? If I log out of google account will it render this as a dead link.? Well I just uploaded and see if this will work instead. Update: 11-18-2008 Didn't sell it
  4. Thanks.... Here is another picture.....
  5. This one that I recenly bought and couple together with the Sony DVD-S7000
  6. Good news to hear! Barock, where did you get the neoprene or silicone sleeve? Much is not available , if they are available ,for Minidisc players... what do you think about this: Im going to go ahead and sell my MDS-jb930 and use the funds for the new portable.
  7. I don't have one yet but wonder for those who are proud owners, is the case very scratch prone ? I hope its no like the "Ipod Itouch" back, "Oh man how that always bothered me!!"
  8. Thanks... Well I gotta save a little to get the RH1 but let me ask you , can you use the "Sony MD-8HCL Head Cleaner" to clean the MDS-JB930? Thanks
  9. I had a choice to buy a new MZ-M200 Hi-MD Recorder and or get a used MDS-JB930 deck. Well I got the MDS JB930 to have it set up for my Stereo system. Its very nice and well kept. It's built like a tank. but now I am having second thoughts and think that I should have bought the new portable one since most of music well, I hear is On-the-Go. 1) is the Mz-200 able to connect to an audio receiver also and record from CD? 2) is the Mz-200 fragile? (have never seen or touch one in person) 3) could you connect the MZ-200 , much like an Ipod , to an auxilary input on a car stereo which has that? Thanks for information

    Taking a risk

hi, brand new to this forum although I had been lurking here and there for a while. Back in 2000 I had bought a Sony MD deck (I believe the JB920) it was the one before the one with the Keyboard input and it was great. Anyway, times had changed and I had decided to sell it. But I do remember how great the MD sounded and in my opinion sounded much better than even a CD. Perhaps it was just the old CD player I had. Still, I never went back to MD until now. I want to get a new one but this time a portable one. OF course , seems like now, with the MP3 and IPOD frenzy, the, MD is about to be no more.... This is also another reason why I want to sell my 32GB Itouch which I bought back in June to get one of any any rare Minidiscs players. what do you guys think? suggestions welcomed Thank you gabgar
  11. Would getting this be the same as getting the M200? What are the advantages or disadvantages? I bought a Itouch like back in June and thinking about selling it to get a Minidisc player....
