I am always buying stuff from japan, right now I have at least 1 rh-1 coming for me , a few E-10, for me as well. I also asked for a few e730s, and I now e720s are available, hopefully have EH1's coming as well. I also have a few hundred discs coming as well. I am gonna sort through it for first pic and then the rest goes to ebay.

I couldn't find a straight answer to this. But can the RH1 store data in the same manner as in Windows? That would be the deal sealer if thats the case.

When referring to the FLAC and Apple Lossless I was figuring on using an optical cable connected to the Minidisc recorder and using my player of choice play the music and allow the recorder to record. I will admit I haven't researched thoroughly the HI-MD recorders yet. I have been looking at the following to perform the various tasks I want to achieve. RH-1 EH-1, N10, E900, E730, and E10.

I have been a long time user of the wonderful minidisc. I have 3 MZ-R37's, I have loved the unit since it came out. I am getting tired of the iPod with 80GB worth of music to scroll through. So I am going back to MD. I need some equipment, and suggestions as what to get. Here are my needs requirements. I am a MAC user, and almost only MAC. No windows available, but I do have a Linux box if that makes a difference. Sony only. Need a top quality HI-MD recorder. Need a top quality HI-MD player, small as possible, but sturdy. Need a top quality non HI-MD player, small as possible, but sturdy. Almost forgot, Most/All of my music is ripped/encoded to HDD storage as lossless files either FLAC or Apple Lossless. I have been going through the Equipment browser and picking some models. Let see if my research matches your suggestions. Thanks
