yep i think you re right, most of my musc is in SS, and i want to keep that way, what should we do? just wait till the server closes? then buy another WALKMAN? cause i don t wanna do that!

and when they close the server that ups SS, what people who wants to continue using SS will do? i mean i have it on my pc, but i format it some times, and then? there s a way to backup the program in a cd? what you guys think? sorry for the bad english!

i said ipod cause was the first thing in my mind, i was just joking you rude, because you keep talking about rockbox like you were giving me a solution for a problem, in this case SS, but i´m trying to say to you that SS is not a problem, have you go see the site from sony? they will keep updating SS, and i use my ps3 to store and convert my music into ATRAC, so even if they stop SS, wich will NOT happen, i can keep using my ps3, in any moment i said that SS is the best or somenthing like that for you to say that i´m a fan boy, i just said that i like SS for me got that?

first the fool here is you! there´s no need to be rude man, i´m not a ignorant fanboy, i tested a lot of dap´s and music mannagers, and i just like walkman and SS, just it and i wont stop using my walkman, theres no need to stop using it and use rockbox, even if they only continue with SS in japan i can keep using mine SS, and in the site from sony portugal they say they´re gonna keep updating SS, because most of new walkmans will come with two options, one that has drag and drop, and one that uses SS like the ones from now, go there and take a look.

but ins´t new sony walkman coming with two options? i was looking in theyr site and you can buy one that plays ATRAC, and you have to use SS and theres the same model that has drag and drop. i think sony is only stoping ATRAC in theyr connectstore, but SS will continue thank god!!

I can´t live without ATRAC, but for people who don´t like SS, wich is not my case, sony should make a tool to convert files into ATRAC, like the one to convert ATRAC into mp3, them you would be able to drag and drop ATRAC files.

hi, i was checking Wikipedia, and at the end of the page of ATRAC there was a link to a page similar to wikipedia, but it is called iA wiki and there they were destroing ATRAC!! saying that atrac was the worse codec, that SonicStage was horrible and that ATRAC Players come with horribles headphones! i just finished editing the page,took everything wrong, and if you go see http://www.infoanarchy.org/en/ATRAC3, theres nothing to say about ATRAC there! wichi means they were only putting ATRAC down! the point here is that we need to keep checking these sites to say what's right about ATRAC, if someone can go there and edit! i´m not qualified to do cause my english is poor as you can see.

i see you have already tried it, any changes in the interface? or it´s just SS 4.3 with minor upgrades?

so i asked to one of the admin and he said that this is only for vaio pc s in japan, and it s obsolet by now! let s keep waitng for the SonicStage 4.4!
