Troubleshooting on MZR55 during recordingwith microphone
darK (aka Tharaka) replied to a topic in Minidisc
its most likely just the silence gaps... that create Track Marks... just go through and Erase the track marks... that should fix it -
the T forums have gotten way out of control... too many posts.. its hard to keep track of everything...
-
the 707 will still NEVER compare to the N1.. how many ever hacks you put onto it...
-
try here... http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=241 i also wanted one.. but i ruled it out.. because of what was said about.. but its still a good player.. along with the Aiwa HX-400, Sharp MD-DS8... so dont rule the E10 out completely... diversify.. dont just stick to sony... (this coming from me.. lol)
-
no offence.. but what are you.. an idiot.. there is a post right below urs.. saying... 'Wild MZN-707 Hack" why didnt you go to this one.. OMG.. ppl these days...
-
i am actually suprised about how many MD players i see every day... at school about half the people have them.. and i'm suprised that they dont get confisgated.. because it is a rule that you cannot have CD players or MP3 or Walkman at school.. i guess they forgot about MD.. lol i would have theought that they would be really popular in America and Canada.. but i heard somewhere they they only have the N505 in canada.. or something like that
-
oh.. and lately.. "Help! my 707 doesnt charge"
-
the 707 DOES NOT!! have a line out.. i read it wrong... the N1 is the only one with a Line Out the headphone jack can (technically) be used as a line out... i'm not a very technical person.. so i'm not sure about the electrical values involved.. but with the N1.. you must have 'Line Out' selected in the options menu's... otherwise there will definitley be something wrong with the sound... (i think)... and technical ppl want to help me out on this one??
-
oh well.. what are ya gonna do... life is life... i'm sorry to hear of your robbery...
-
lol
-
try looking at this comparison table... the 707 gets while the 505 doesnt: - Charging Cradle - Cross Control Jog Dial - Digital Sound Presets - Program Mode - (something with the battery, not sure what it is) - no Microphone Jack (thats the biggest attraction to the 707 compared with the 505) hope this helps... Tharaka.

try this thread... might be useful... http://forums.minidisc.org/viewtopic.php?t=78

i think this board needs some board styles... i mean.. SubSilver is cool but some new ones to create a bit of variety would be nice...
-
the forums are becoming dead... no-one is replying, or making new topics... we need some new things to talk about... [EDIT] ooh i think i figured it out.. everyone is on christmas holidays...

darK (aka Tharaka) replied to darK (aka Tharaka)'s topic in Technical, Tips, and Tricks
oh... ok. i get it.. because the E10 has an unusual headphone connecter.. you need theis cable to use headphones without the remote?? am i right? -

how long are the pauses from ur stereo.. 5 seconds? coz i think u need 7 seconds to create a pause.. thats how long winCUE pauses for... try it and see what happens
-
yep S1 it is.. but the S1 doesnt have a Microphone Input.. or a Remote Jack either.. so you wont be able to record from a microphone or plug in a remote.. but because the unit looks cool.. why hide it in ur pocket or bag??
-
if you have the money... definitley go for the N1... but otherwise.. the N707 isnt a bad recorder either...
-
may the force be with you lustral

well.. here's the only easy way... as you can see.. the N1 has a lot more features... such as - USB port in cradle (saves space on player unit) - Jog Dial - Personal Disc Memory - Name Bank - has a thin Gumstick battery rather than the 707 has a chunky battery that creates a bulge in the player unit - has a line out N707's chunky battery hole - N1's thin bulge (because of jog dial)
