  1. You may need to send it back to them.
  2. Probably the best Sony recorders are as follows: MZ-r900, MZ-r909, MZ-r910, MZ-n910 Although you may have better results with Sharp recorders, i.e DR7, DR77
  3. Next time I go shopping, my portable is deffinately coming. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.
  4. Just making sure you know that AllofMP3.com IS infact illegal.
  5. You can pretty much return anything if you meet their return policy.
  6. I'm looking for a copy of Talkie Walkie by Air without any copy control. I know EMI doesn't put CC on all of it's albums in all countries. Atleast that was the case with a few CDs when they started out. I'm willing to buy new (if you are willing to pick it up for me and ship it) but I don't want to spend too much since I know international CDs can be expensive. Shoot me a PM or e-mail me at bananatree@gmail.com to work out a deal.
  7. Somehow I thought it would be obvious that you don't fall into their target demographic
  8. That is very true, the Eggos probably have the best comfort level of any headphones I've ever used.
  9. I love how all these article do the same thing: "Apple is pretty good, Sony sucks because they have a proprietary format" Dear Mr. Reviewer: Buy some tracks off ITMS and try and play them in something other than a CD player or a iPod.
  10. I don't have a ton of friends around campus that I regularly talk to, so anytime I'm not in lecture, I usually have my headphones on. If not, it's because my iPod has no battery, or I didn't feel like lugging my ATH-a500s around (since they are huge). Mikami, I assume you are from Japan. I agree about the public transit systems there, they are something to be sought after for other countries. The courtesy, comfort and noise levels are usually very pleasing (well, comfort is an issue when travelling during rush hour).
  11. I (and the other mods) will have our eyes on this thread. This topic has almost reached redundancy. I'll ad something to the whole computer thing. Some people, (I.e me before I got my iBook) were firewire/USB 2.0less as well as running an OS that wasn't compatible with iTunes (3.1/95/98), so therefore, istead of ripping MP3s from CDs, then burning them to save space for use with a MP3CD player (or a really slow USB flash player) I got an MD recorder, which I eventually got to fit my needs perfectly. No bitrate hassle, no computers, no harddrive space. It works well for some people.
  12. Haha, my love for tobacco has died out for awhile... I don't really care about that anymore.. plus how can I love something that is killing me? Also, lifebystereo.com and it's "affiliates" are just silliness that I use to try and hone my writing and web skills.
  13. Haha, I noticed that was a girl, I thought it was just wierd that you didn't just say "That's my girlfriend in the second picture" since she is the only girl and clearly the focal point. ....I knew there was a downside to all these design classes....
  14. Why did you have to specify that your girlfriend was the one with dark hair? There's is only one girl in that picture
  15. Atleast we now know that someone at Sony agrees with us.
  16. I love my modest CD collection and most other things in that picture, I wish I had some pictures of people to throw in there. P.s I DON'T love that coke.
  17. That'd be pretty cool, not sure if it'd listen or not.
  18. For sale: A Xin Super Mini amp with rechargable AAA batteries. Features: Digital volume control Xfeed ON/OFF LED Etymotic ER4 P/S converter Shoot me an Offer
  19. I assume his Digital camera is also broken, things in NZ don't stay whole for very long it seems.
  20. http://reviews.cnet.com/4864-6490_7-312994...608&ctype=msgid That person is very misguided.
  21. 1. 1 gb of expandible storage 2. Cheap media 3. User changable batteries 4. Uploading of hi-quality recording 5. PCM recordings 6. Analog AND hi-speed digital recording 7. MP3 support 8. Microphone recording 9. Connect Store 10. Simple Burner BTW, I merged your posts.
  22. My favs are TDK bitclub, Sony ES and Sony Niege. Discs don't vary a lot in anything other than build quality. I.e Maxell discs with plastic shutters aren't as strong as Sony ES blanks.
  23. Hah, my old avatar was a pixelized version of the "Dark Side of the Moon" album cover done by R. Stevens of Diesel Sweeties. My new one is of White Ninja, the silly humour webcomic staring a white ninja. Whiteninja.com
