Personally, I think Bikkini style looks a lot better. As lace kinda make girls look too formal. I like casual and laid back rather than WOWZA sexy. However, go for what'll make your girlfriend and yourself the happiest.

Right. And that is the point of the pointlesness of this system. If I spent 500 dollars on a low-powered Windows-based PC to be used for Web Surfing, Email, light word processing, and such, I'd be labeled an insane man.
Sorry, but for me, that just doesn't compute.
Remember, this is a computer that will work almost flawlessly without pounds of extra software added in like ad-aware, Anti-Virus. Plus it will work with digital cameras without icky things like "Drivers" (which to people like my family have to do with limos rather than computers).
When I first got my iBook I almost cried when I realized that EVERYTHING worked right out of the box without flaw. Nothing displeased me what so ever, so I think Joe "idiot computer-user" will probably use the Mac Mini without a lot of hassle.

Be sure you remember that it is a mono device, since phone is mono.
So set your recording to Mono so you don't get stuck with one channel.

You can only upload a analog recording once, then you can convert it to WAV and copy it as much as you want.
As a dj, I can see the Hi-MD recorder being a good choice, as you could capture all of your sets at a reasonalbly high bitrate.

Battery life would be destroyed with the addition of most of those things.

You can get more credits by giving your input on song files, to help out the community. Or atleast you used to be able to do that.

I doubt a lot of RAM will be needed for most users of the Mac Mini, but I think if I get my parents one I will suggest getting a 128 stick for good measure.

I think I am going to convince my family to get an Mac Mini. Why?
My family doesn't need to do anything except check e-mail, the internet and MSN messenger, and from time to time, upload some pictures from the digital camera. That's far more powerful than my current Win98 PC with 333mhz.
iLife '05 will be perfect for them.
I think Apple has stepped into something very smart. For 700 canadian dollars, I don't think a single PC in the entire world would work better for the circumstances.

Oi, I know how you feel mate.
Personally, at the bar I work at, they hired a bunch of new Bartenders who know crap all about how to bartend, while I've been working my tail off trying to learn the trade of bartending.
Whatever, I'm going to quit and work at Toys 'r' Us anyways (hopefully).

You will get a "Nop Copy" if there are any SCMS problems. I'll assume you know what those are and only tell you to search if not.
You can adjust the optical output of some decks, you I'd make sure that your optical output is not too high or too low and maybe tinker with the recorders to get a good level for the IN/OUT.

That's a good deal for HDTV, it seemed the canadian market is only interested in giant TVs with HDTV, and cheaper TVs aren't being enabled with HDTV.
It really sucks as I'd enjoy getting a component system going, or even S-Video for that matter! Without over stepping my budget too far.
