so they have the bump...! but why sony put a slim recheargable ni-mh battery if there is space to a normal AA? i think if it is so it is unusuefull to use the included battery (it have short life...)

i know thanks! :smile: but what's about use of standard AA alkaline with the other model(non mz-nh900), with the mz-nh700... you can use AA battery? 'cause in the spec chart is written the time of AA duration...!

but you can use a normal AA battery? i hope yes! 'cause in the spec chart(ecxept MZ-NH1) it is wrtitten ni-mh battery and AA... so you can use a normal AA battery? and if yes where you can put it? in the old MD there was a lump....! so the newer Hi-MD are completely flat in the back?

i don't know, but i'm also interested... it is possible to organize music in folder with the hi-md.. and i yes, how you can view it? like an iPod?

i hope that they will be available really in june here in europe... but if they became available in US in mid may....

the NH1 is very cool!! Magnesium body and fantastic jog-dial(and if you loose it?? :wacky: ) but the price is too high! p.s. but, with the hi-md you can use standard AA battery?

i'm in italy and i don't know what's the official date, but on www.minidisco.com thy say that it will be available from mid-may and you can pre-order...!

... here in Italy no one have MD, i know only 2 guys(like me) that have it, the other have the standard cd player or a little(128 MB ) mp3 player... why not? (i think) 'cause people want to put the cd just buyed into the cd player or to have a little with no function mp3 player, no complication(no advantage)... too complicate? if you call it(an HI-MD) "mp3 player", with 1GB. maybe the people will buy it.... but don't say that is a MD!

except the mz-nh600, the others model have got line in(opical) and the mic in...! :smile: the capacity?at least 6 times the normal MD you( 145MB vs. 1GB ) or if you use old MD reformatted to 300MB. i don't understand why do you think to can do less thing with the new sony's MD, and with the usb is faster, or if you want you can use the "old" method....! :grin:

i've got a veeery old MD, the mz-r500....! http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MZ-R500.html it's non a net MD, 2 years and more with no one problems... but now i want change! and an hi-md seems to be a good buy! i used the lp2 function for 2 years, an iPod is too much for me, maybe an mini iPod is good...but here it will be available from july or in october, and i've hear a lot of people with problems.... what's the iPod's quality respect the MD? and i don't like white colour... i think black is better for the headphones! :laugh:

'cause with the minidisc you can take with you another battery and chenge it if the other expire... but after a lot of times the iPod battery will lose is durability....

but there is something that i didn't understand.... the mini iPod have internal battery, and so you have to rechearge it...! but there is no ac adapter.. you can only from USB? and if you want to change that's battery... how?
