Thread pinned.
Note: I've locked the thread so that this FAQ could stay that way and not get confusing with a full discussion ensuing. *Please refer to the following thread – click here – for discussions pertaining to this guide.

2. For those who needs the SONYmatome's HEL2NWM Converter, please check back at this thread. I've uploaded it back for your convenience. Enjoy.
3. That is its LIP-30 lithium ion rechargeable battery. I don't believe you can. DTS only works with Optical Digital Out. If there is any consolation, the D-VM1 offers the two sound modes to enjoy your DVD with your headphone via Virtual Surround - 1) V-SUR1 for inner-ear headphones and 2) V-SUR2 for open-air headphone such as the MDR-F1. Option 2 allows Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital 5.1-channel.
4. The mentioned units has been discussed in this thread, post #4. They are known as the "You are the NEXT!" Project HD5 series. Let's continue discussion in that thread.
5. The MZ-EH930 does not have a display screen - the display screen is not a common feature for a playback-only unit.
6. If you can't get it from AudioCubes, the next alternative is to request buyfromjapan (an eBay seller based in Japan that many MDCF members frequent) to get one for you.

9. Do you mean like this? --> post #41 of this thread. The weather and battery widgets are done with Konfabulator (you can now download the program with widgets for free via Yahoo). To customize your Windows' visual styles, you can employ various programs - the one I used is called StyleXP.

12. Could you please be more specific? For example, which version of SonicStage 3.x you were trying to install. In addition, it is important to state your system specs and most important, try reading the Hi-MD/NetMD Software FAQ for possible solution. Please be patient and someone on board will provide assistance shortly.
13. Thanks. Yes, in fact I do. The eggos are great traveling companion (provides acceptable isolation) and I usually alternate between the D77 and D66SL.
14. I'm pretty sure that your existing RM-MC33EL will work with the upcoming A3000; since it's reported to work with the RM-MC35ELK.
15. Greg, As I’ve mentioned in the preceding posts, CONNECT Player simply does not support/recognize Hi-MD, the HDx series and other known Network Walkman period. As for performance issue, I think it is plausible to state that this is because many users installed CONNECT Player via the update module manually. I believe this factored into its instability. But of course, there are other variables – one such is that “TinyHTTP.exe process.” Let's hope the official public release will be more agreeable. Stay tuned.
