  1. Thanks for taking the time to share those pictures. The size comparison picture between the N10 and the A1000 will prove to be very useful for those still on the fence.
  2. The UI of the Japanese version of SonicStage 3.3 will be in Japanese naturally and you will need to run the software via Microsoft AppLocale to ensure proper display of Japanese text within the UI. I have edited the installer so one can run the installer without OS language restriction. If you are interested, proceed to this post for the installer, which I have attached awhile ago. Note: You should ensure that you have completely uninstall present version of SonicStage from your system before running the Japanese version.
  3. Listening to LEGEND | Mika Nakashima in PCM. 1.LEGEND (Main) 2.LEGEND (Original) 3.FAKE 4.Carrot & Whip 5.LEGEND (Instrumental)
  4. I have always used the Japanese version of SonicStage for obvious reason and I can confirm your observation. The Japanese version never requires one to conduct harware initialization. If we can locate that specific registry key, we may apply it to non-Japanese version of SonicStage and be done with the initialization woes.
  5. *@ marylee: another member has answered this query you have posted in another thread. For future reference, please do not double post and it would be nice if you could keep your posts in the appropriate section of the forum. - Thread moved to its appropriate section of the forum -
  6. A simple edit of the installer will enable one to run the installer in an English version of WinXP. I have edited the setup file for SonicStage 3.3 JE Installer for your convenience. Download it here --> [attachmentid=1202] Please note: if you wish to import file with path names that contain Japanese characters, you will have to run SonicStage itself in Japanese via Microsoft AppLocale. 10. Thanks for the link; it will be useful for those who reside in the UK. Just a note of interest - did you guys notice that the carrying case is listed within "Ipod Accessories." Nonetheless, it is nice to see that the e-store stocks the leather version of the carrying case for a few extra quids.
  11. Just had a dish of tonkatsu; served with miso shiru.
  12. I believe the disc itself is plain with either color coded or special designed metal shutters. Once I acquired another set, I shall provide pictures depicting individual discs of the set.

  19. Update: Sony Network Walkman A Series | Aura of Music CM - now available for download. Enjoy.
  20. I've seen the Spanish version (rather the original version of Vanilla Sky) and preferred it over the remake; plus it's nice to have Penelope Cruz in the movie. At my end, I just watched Texhnolyze - not exactly a movie but rather an anime series. Aye, "The Others" is a well done horror movie. I would recommend it.
  21. Sorry, I should've elaborated further - recording failure usually indicates a broken ribbon cable. Please read this thread for further details.
  22. The optical block of early NetMD units are known to be susceptible to "wear-and-tear" so to speak. I believe your unit experienced the same fate. *thread moved to its appropriate section of the forum
