A quick question...why can't Sonicstage only convert some mp3's to Atrac even if it's from the same album.For example I'm puting an album that I've ripped from a CD from another program and it's in mp3 format.I want to put the ripped tracks on my Hi-MD (MZ-NH1)...well it puts all the tracks but one and I keep getting a error saying that Sonicstage doesn't support the file format of the track which is strange as it's come from the same Album and it supported all the other tracks... Anyone else have similar problems and if so how did you overcome this?

Hi guys...It's working...It's working...The problen was that I did't remove the Openmg Jukebox from my PC.Also for some strange reason Windows just had the NH1 as a Hard Drive and not as a music player so I installed it again with Sonicstage 3.3 with the player plugged in the USB port and now Sonicstage doesn't have a problem with the player...Happy Days....I can't thank ye enough and a Happy New Year to ye all.

Okay...I've done that.What should I do next?I have no more Windows updates to do...Should I uninstall and then reinstall Sonicstage 3.3

I don't want to sound like an Idiot but how do I install Service Pack 2 and where can I find it....

No I don't have Sevice Pack 2.I also reinstalled it through your FAQ 4-5 times and it still doesn't work.I also installed SS2.1 that you get with the NZ-1 and that wouldn't transfer either.Both Sonicstage 3.3 and 2.1 won't even play the music that I have on my Hard Drive that I've imported into Sonicstage and they are mp3.I never had any problems putting music on my NetMD.In fact after I couldn't transfer the tracks to my HI-MD I transfered the same tracks to my NetMD without any problems.The only way I can record or put music on my HI-MD is through the simple burner...With Sonicstage 2.1 it reconises that the player is there but I keep getting an error message of Unable to transfer music...Would this have something to do with the DRM.With Sonicstage 3.3 I kept getting an Omgjbox.exe error which has only started to appear.This is wrecking my head...because I can play the music files with iTunes and Windows Media player.Do I need a codec in order for sonicstage to be able to play the music in Sonicstage.It couldn't be the Hi-MD because Sonicstage reconises it and I can play music back on through Sonicstage 2.1.HELP...........

Hi guys.I am wondering if you could help me.I've just bought a MZ-NH1.I installed sonicstage and the MD simple Burner.I then uploaded all my music files from my hard drive into Sonicstage.When I try to transfer my music files it tells me that it can't.I don't know what's goin on.I can transfer music from CD to MD only using the MD Simple Burner so at least I know that my MZ-NH1 is workind.I tried to transfer the same songs to my NetMD using the same program...no problems.Even when I rip a CD into Sonicstage it won't transfer the tracks to my Hi-MD.Even Sonicstage 3.3 doesn't reconise my MZ-NH1...Can anyone help me...............Please I've tried both Sonicstage softwares 3.3 and 2.1.Both give me the same problem.Do I have to do something in Windows or do I have to do something with the NH1. This offer means the proximity of new equipments HI-MD on markets or "uncertain future" of the platform?Quote Who knows whats going on with Sony these days.The offers that are around right now are for the Older HI-MD units so that tells me 2 things that people are not buying them and that Sony are not pushing the sale of MD-Units.I was in Madrid last Weekend and I was in FNAC and they had i-Pods everywhere on display and you couldn´t even find the Sony products.I eventually found the MD´s and they had the old ones.Everywhere now has the Flash Or HDD players.I would love a player like the Minidisc player but takes a memory card like the Playstation 2.I just love the idea of removable media.It´s also imposible to buy Hi-MD discs.I live in Bilbao and there ain´t a single shop that sells them.In Madrid they only had a few...¿Que pasa? what´s going on? I got my player 3 weeks ago so cheers Sefu.They have those 20Hi-MD disc Bundles but they aren´t taking international orders anymore.I would love to buy some of those Hi-MD discs so I wonder if Minidisc Australia will take anymore international orders.If not does anyone know any websites that ship to Europe that sell Hi-MD discs cheap....Chears Sefu....A great bargain...To eveyone in the Forum...Happy Xmas or Feliz Navidad....Zorionak

Mine has also been like that for the past couple of days.Although it said on the 10 Nov that my item was processed for Dispatchform Sydney so hopefully thats a good sign that it´s now on it´s way over to me..

Hi guys...I know everyone is talking about the lossless bit rate on SS.3.3 but I have a question about SS.3.3.I´ve just downloaded it and have installed it in my computer but it is in Spanish.My Windows is in Spanish but I´ve been able to have previous SS´s in English.Is it possible to change the language setting within SS.3.3.Thanks guys....amazing Forum....Keep up the Great work

Okay this is gonna sound stupid but what is the real difference between SS3.2 and SS3.3.Is there any real benefit to trying to get SS3.3 if one already has SS3.2.

Cheers Sparky.I didn´t read your post earlier but thanks for pointing that out to me.I forgot that you could get adapters from a travel shop...Only 4euros sounds like a Bargain.You haven´t had any problems charging the unit...I´m not sure which one to get the NH1 or the NH900...Is there any difference?Anybody got any of these models...or is there anywhere in the form where I can go and find reviews of posts about these items....Viva El Mini-Disc

Guys can you help me.I´m looking to buy a new Hi-MD.Does anybody know any good european sites where I can check them out and they´ll also deliver to Spain.Also any advice which one I should buy....I have a NetMD and I really want a HI-MD................HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering if this forum could help me make a decision.I have a NetMD MZ-N510 and I´m looking to change it,hopefully convince the misses to get me a new player for Xmas.I can´t choose between 2 players the MZ-DH10P & MZ-RH10.Can anyone tell if the camera on the DH10P is some sort of a gimmick or is there any real advantage to having this on a HI-MD Player.Another question that is bugging me is that I know Sony say in all their adverts that "One can record 45 CDs on 1GB Hi-MD".Whats the sound quality like?On my NetMD I don´t even record on LP4 because it sounds terrible,I only use LP2.Is the sound quality better on the new Hi-MD units compared to my NetMD.The other problem is that all my friends have iRivers and iPods and say that I shouldn´t bother with MD because they say they´ve heard Sony are no longer developing players anymore and are going to continue with these Connect Players instead.Has there been any sort of statement as I can´t seem to find any on the Web.Personally I don´t see the point in Sony ending the MD format as they´ve invested too much money in it with these models.I really don´t want an iPod as it sounds shit....Oh the sound is awful....even with a pair of Fontopia headphones or a pair of professional studio headphones.One last question....do you think that MD is dead and will it compatible with the new Connect Software as SS3.2 is not exactly the best software out there.Guys help me please....Oh yeah I live here in Spain just so you don´t think that I´m livin´ in the states.Is there anywhere in the states that delivers in Europe because with the Exhange rate its cheaper for me to buy it over there and get it shipped over here.My English is pretty f**kin A-1..........Rock On and Viva el Minidisco
