They are Regular MP3s, mostly above 192 kbps... I don't think them being VBR has anything to do with it, as maybe a ahndful of them are, but every one of them tha tI tried freezes up. Anyways, I'm just copying back through Sonicstage...it usually works then. If not, guess everything is going to...192 CBR or something.

I'm wondering if it works for you guys...from the looks of it, the files copy over fine...but it doesnt play. My VAIO Pocket just freezes up...anybody wanna give it a shot and respond? Thanks
-
Yeah...driving me insane. I tried dragging some files over with MP3 File Manager, and those along with many others copied from Sonicstage just cause my VAIO pocket to freeze up... I'm going to try converting all my music to MP3 and go through MP3 manager, but man its frustrating...

VAIO Pocket Query: Can one make multiple playlists
Minger replied to bongocanuck's topic in Software
On the pocket, its on the right side with a heart on it - select that to add to playlist...something like that. -
I've got a feeling you won't be able to without like, burning the songs to CD and reconverting them back. And WMP works with the Atrac Players? If so...sweet.

Try what I did witht he VAIO Pocket - install the progrma in your computer, then go to the folder it was installed in and copy it to your player. -
Yes. The Sonicstage software will more than likely die on you a few times in the process, but you can always just make a batch copy prior to transfer... That and VAIO Music Move will work too...seems more stable.
-
After transferring some tracks...it takes short of forever (like 5-10 minutes) for my VAIO Pocket to update the music library...which I think is overkill. I mean, can't they just append? Anwyays, I've got about 5000 songs, and add songs often...it just annoys me.

Out of curiosity, how long does the process usually take? I have about 5000 songs, but nothing has changed on the keygen... nevermind, just started workin as soon as I posted... Man this is gonna take a long while. Hm...great program, but it freezes up a lot... -
Lol, he may have a good point - such as your speakers backwards to start with. anwyays, I know a lot of the higher production software can do the reversing of sound channels, but I can't think of anything cheap (never used it)

The Wedding. Good band...
-
Well, I was just saying that because there area lot of programs out there that are capable of doing this...
-
What files are they originally in? Because if its MP3, it may be somewhat easier to fix...
-
Sweetness...Sounds great to me. Personally, I say screw the RIAA, but thats just me...

HiMDRenderer doesn't want to work with my MP3s from my VAIO...

Dude...saw the beginning of this thread a week ago...and right now...I could just about kiss you. No more Sonicstage hopefully - which means no more trashy crappy software! woohoo! One question - do you guys think it will be possible to convert the oringally MP3 file thats now a OMA back to the orig MP3 - without reripping (don't wanna degrade the quality more and more, but I probably won't even notice... -
Even if it is blacklisted, there are ways to change the key...I won't get into that...
-
know how to access the service mode in the other players by any chance? now I'm intrigued...
-
Sony's website... I've got a feeling that this is just slightly sponsored by Sony.
-
Test/service mode? No idea. It may just be the weak amp though.

Nice... good job with this, hope ya get a lot more done... -
Use the MP3 manager - it will copy over folders so when you check the groups it'll be under there...but it'll get unorganized pretty quick
-
sounds like you may need to download the Japanese version of Sonicstage, but thats just my guess; I'm not too sure.
-
Is there any way to do this - using MP3s? If not, its cool I guess...just need it for some of the more screamo/hardcore stuff I have, sometimes have trouble understandin it...

So I formatted my computer...forgot to deauthorize...then I started to have problems, did a system restore to before I installed sonicstage, forgot to deauthorize again... So now I'm formatting agian and I did remember to deauthorize from Connect...the computer anyways...but then when I go to my VIAO Pocket, it says that theres an error...in which the only thing I could really do was format it... grrr... That and prior to my backup of my 30 gigs of music, I lost everything after T, and couldn't restore it then because Sony had to be anal about copying from the player to your computer...meh. sorry for the rant...
