  1. The OMA Files were mostly MP3's transferred to the Pocket...
  2. Well, this sucks - on my HDD I just lost a partition because I was mergign it, and some music was lost.. And HIMDEncoder or whatever doesn't want to work...
  3. I'm trying to figure out whats up with this. I have it converting to LAME MP3, and when its done it produces a file thats about half a meg each time, with just static on it...
  4. doesnt work for me either...hm.
  5. http://marcnetsystem.co.uk/cgi-bin/mn2.pl?...drs=,96,83,39,2, HIMDLister... Try using that...I'm gonna give the other program thats on there thats supposed to be able to convert .OMG to .MP3...so I'll really have a backup, so yay...
  6. the only J-pop that i listen to (and I dont know if its really jpop...) is probably the pillows...
  7. If they're MP3s, you can use MP3Gain...increase the gain of the file...other than that theres not much you can do.
  8. ^sonyslave's suggestion sounds like your only option. I just wish they weren't so anal about pirating that they would at least use our players as a backup medium for music in the case something does go wrong...
  9. I doubt there will be new firmware as its pretty much unsupported now (the player that is...) - its gonna be discontinued soon (or already is)
  10. Yup, its the standby. I know that the Creative products do this as well, but do a full shut off after 24 hours and are perfectly fine; the only one of theirs to hav ea problem wiht massive draining is their Micro. And yes it does account for the battery drainage.
  11. Actually, it worked fine for me. What you need to do is go to the directory that the files are copied to when you install it (Program files/sony/MP3 File Manager) Copy them to the VAIO Pocket, in a directory such as \MP3FM, and then run it from there. Works perfect, but unlike SS, it copies to the groups folder as the folder is named when you transfer, and it won't say the artist under the group name. And no pictures are transferred through the tags, which kinda sucks for me. So I guess I stuck with sonicstage...can't believe I did that though.

    VAIO pocket remote

the remote is ok, except for when trying to scroll through a large list, then it just bites.
  13. I was browsing around club-VAIO and stumbled across this: http://www.club-vaio.sony-europe.com/clubv...ad?thread=26274 I was wondering if anyone had ever tried the program and if you need to deauthorize your computer; I don't want to try because that would mean reloading all of my music. Anybody? Thanks
