do you mean the hd amp off rh1 is better than the one off nh900 or rh10? cuz i would assume nh900 have the same amp as rh1 and this guy don't like the hd amp much

go for the sharp, since rh10 have worst sound quality then your nh900 anyway since rh10 only have digital amp wheras the nh900's is a hd digital amp.

all i need is sony to offer something better than its hd digital amp, if only sharp got into the hi-md game things would be so different.

i am selling a brand-new-in-box-with-everything-included Sharp Im-dr80 minidisc recorder. there is no scratches or dents and the dr80 is the top minidisc recorder for sound, since it have the shap 1-bit digital amp which is popular for its detailed and punchy sound. head-fi might not have any review of this unit but you can go to forum.minidisc.org and t-station.net and audiocubes.com (selling at 299). if you have done the research you would know this is a rare item for pofessional audiophiles and live recording enthrusiasts. my asking price is 130 plus shipping (i live in canada and i don't charge ridiculous shippings) here are some photos i took when i took it out of the box for more detailed pictures, as you can see it is in a new condition with no scratches on anywhere(lcd included) i will take a pic of the orginal box later

i uses the remote a lot so i personally think having a lcd on the unit is a hassle since i have to keep it scratchless. as for the size, man dr80 is small and dedlicate, while the dr77 is quite heavier and thicker, and according to my knowledge, it is plastic. At least my black dr77 feels like a block of plastic while the dr80 feels more well built cuz it is covered by metal( but is less heavy than the dr77) and that is why i sold it to keep my dr80. yeah, i rather have the dr80 because it is so small and so well built, while the paint of the dr77 keeps coming off and i don't use the screen at all. basically everything you need is on the remote, and if you have more difficult function you can use the dr80's chargind deck, which seems to be more functional that dr77. so if you are really botheref by the lack of lcd screen on the unit, get the dr77 or dr7, or else get the dr80!!!!

Apparently i don't have any imaging software, so i am sorry I can't speak in head-fi language, so i will do just a basic review later i guess.

i dunno if this is the rightplace for this question but i am looking for ways i can make my md look sharper, so can i actually fit a minidisc player into a altoids tin can, like the rectangular one, since i guess some people might have cmoys in here. thanks fot the help!
