accessories and software

i want to get into MD more and so want a storage unit but there seems to be very little choice.

is there a wall hanging matt like for cds with pockets where you can put your MD in and display them? i have an old MD holder, flat thing with the minidiscs stood upright and you can flick through them. got it from virgin mega stores, any one know where i can get similar?

finally what software? if there a minidisc labeling program? or cover printer? or cataloging soiftware?

There are actually many storage options... none of which will work for me, because just like CDs, my collection is always growing & expanding, and no unit other than a HUGE wall shelf (like a book shelf) works for me. But here are just a few:

Use google too, you'll find a LOT. I remember seeing a wooden rack too, (not individual slots for each disc, but partitions to allow groups of maybe 5 each, but forget what site it was.

I've also read how many people make their own, or modify other templates... again, do a Google search. I use Photoshop for all my labeling, so I can't recommend something else, but I saw some free easy label/cover maker - just search the forum or the T-board forum.

I don't catalog, but I know Excel does great cataloging.

i`ve been into MD since the start ( awia f-65, huge brick of a thing ) but want to catalogue all my MD now and get into it properly.

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant about an expanding collection... I always used to use my DRESSER droors for my CDs before I had my huge shelves. I don't need someone elses' design to constrict me to 25 or 50 pieces. Nice little box u got there, by the way.

The "box" is actually a drawer in a two drawer cabinet from Ikea. The benefit of the design in the link I posted is that it can be modified to your needs. You can also make more than one if you want. I plan on making two of them.

On the Neato link, did anyone buy it?

I only need the label on the envelope (the bigger one), not the sticker label on the disc itself. But the pic. shown some color w/ the letter J, I don't want that, I just want a plain white label.
