linzq
Odd question... We have a set of old (but still great) speakers that have the speaker wire coming directly out of them (not detachable), but the wire is too short! Is it possible/safe to connect a second length of speaker wire to the ends?
skmetal07
i have done this before, i usually take the stripped wires and bend them to look like a hook and hook them together. then just solder them, and dont forget the shrink wrap! Bananatree
for a less permanent way, try stripping, then braiding the ends together. Then wrap with some electrictian's tape.
