Trouble Converting Mp3 To Atrac Using All Sonicstage Version

that's the message i got when I'm trying tu put Mp3 on my Net MD MZ-N510

I'm running Windows XP pro Sp 1 a Patched with the "OpenMG Microsoft Patch"

Pentium 4 2Ghz

512 Mo DDR

So no problems with the minimum requirements

I've tried with Sonicstage 1.5 and I got the same error. and also tried Ss2.2 and 2.3 but none solved my problem.

Can somebody help me ? plz.

Reinstall SS. Had the same thing.

Welcome, el_portimanto. You should download Service Pack 2 for XP. Additionally, what's the bitrate of the mp3 file in question?

I'm not very confinent in installing SP 2

Otherwise my mp3 are Static Bitrate of 192 and I tried differents ones. None works

why dont you want to install SP2? Its alot safer. Its easy, just takes a little while. After all this may solve your problem. I got that error with one song, but its never hapend again. doesnt really bother me.

What I have to do with soem of my music, is load it up in Audacity (a music editing program), and then just save it again as mp3, "Import" back into SS and it seems to upload fine.

I don't know you I have to do this, but it works... just takes me longer to load songs to my MD's
