ajnin
Can you use real player with the mz-nh600d like you could with the net md series?
lyceemoliere
Can you use real player with the mz-nh600d like you could with the net md series?←I am far from an expert but i did manage to download from real player. the screen said HI=-Md but the capacity was very low and I am not sure that it was recorded in true himd mode. I wasnt very knowlegeable about formats at the time but I dont remember the format. Because its not ss though, i dont think it could uplaod back to your computer. ROMBUSTERS
i dont believe you can use it for HiMD discs but perhaps maybe for netMD discs, although why not skip the hassel and just put up with SonicStage 2.3 (hasn't crashed once for me)
bland10000
lycee, where did you find the realplayer driver for hi-md? The list for "devices supported" doesn't have it...

[i have no legacy MD/MDLP devices to ever need backward-compatibility for.]
ajnin
Thanks. I had a netmd that was a piece of crap and the old sonic stage did not help anything. I hate real player also so I'm glad that the new sonic stage isn't as bad.
zerodB
I heard on another forum that RealPlayer doesn't seem to get on well with the latest version of the OpenMG Module - the one required for HiMD.SonicStage is probably a lot better to use than RealPlayer IMO. The only advantage that real player really offers in terms of NetMD use is the ability to convert RealMedia files directly to OpenMG for transfer to your unit.
