Fast Eddie
I just got back from my local Dixons where they are selling 5 packs of 1GB discs for £6.99. I couldn't believe it. Just to confirm these are proper 1GB discs, not the repackaged normal ones. The cheapest I'd seen them elswhere was 4.99 for one.

I thought it was odd, but it was marked up at that price on the shelf and scanned at the price too. They had two x 5 packs left. Malcolm Stewart
Hello, all - my first post here. Thanks for all the information - why don't Sony put it into their manuals?back to topic ...HiMD 1 GB discs...Checked Dixons in Central Milton Keynes yesterday, no stock, and Currys this morning where they were charging £6.99 each. John Lewis have them just below £5 each, as does the local Sony centre.
Fast Eddie
Must have been a misprice. They put them out on the shelves in packs of 5 rather than individually and then charged 6.99 for a pack.Guess I'm just lucky I got 5 for 6.99 Edited February 14, 2005 by Fast Eddie
