Stevetynant
Note: posts pertaining to e-tailers that ships the NW-A1000/3000 internationally has been moved --> here.←I've just bought 3 (silver, black and violet) of them - £178 on Amazon if they've all dropped that would have saved me £60 - never mind at least their here- had to wait a while3 might sound excessive but I bought one each for my daughters and liked the look of them so much- treated myself. My first MP3 Player believe it or not.Really glad I found this site though - its brilliant - I had read worrying reviews about the software but didn't let it disuade me (I even cancelled the IPOD 30gb model for it) but as the weeks went by I read more and more bad press about the Connect software and wondered if I had made a mistake. So glad I found this place.anyway - cheers folksSteve

Guest Stuge
There should be only two sample songs in the player(not more than that).this will assure you that no one has used the player before(not 100% ) Edited December 3, 2005 by Stuge

Dinko
But i am asking for the box.. any tearing thing when openinig??No. The model I experienced had no seals or other parts that you had to cut or tear. You can easily open the box, use the product, then repackage it as it was originally. If you're careful, you can make it look brand new after you repackage it.But... maybe Sony has different packagings. In Canada, the same Sony product is often available in two types of packaging: cardboard boxes you can easily repackage, and vacuum plastic which once opened cannot be resealed. I have to say I was baseing my price predictions by extrapolating price drops for previous HDD units and minidisc units over the last 5 years, which in todays market is probably irrelevant! May be Sony's (new) strategy is to sell as many units as possible in the short term to win new buyers at the expense of profit? This is not something they have really done in the past? Could we also be looking at a colour screen varient in the new year for £200?
