Syrius
Hi-MD renderer will create an Mp3/WAV/FLAC/OGG version of your Atracs, with NO DRM CRAP AT ALL. Make sure to give old Marc a donation after you try his program.
The Low Volta
since SS3.0 there is an internal wav-converter so if you haven't already, upgrade to SS3.1... when you upload your recordings you can save them as wav, then convert to MP3 with the same encoder you use to make other MP3's (I think LAME is your best option for an MP3 encoder)(Marcnet's tool is great and he probably inspired Sony but as the internal converter is quite reliable now, I'm afraid I won't be using Hi-MD renderer anymore)greetings, Volta
dex Otaku
Converting directly to mp3 is the best reason for sticking with HiMDRenderer. I don't do this often, but I keep it around for those rare occasions. marcnet's program is top-notch.
Hawkeye
Does that mean that the one copy restriction is avoided? I too have a fundemental issue with restricting content that I record. I understand the licensing and protection of someone else's content, but why make MD more restrictive than other recordings? If someone could explain the workflow on a Sony HDMD I would appreciate it...since SS3.0 there is an internal wav-converter so if you haven't already, upgrade to SS3.1... when you upload your recordings you can save them as wav, then convert to MP3 with the same encoder you use to make other MP3's (I think LAME is your best option for an MP3 encoder)(Marcnet's tool is great and he probably inspired Sony but as the internal converter is quite reliable now, I'm afraid I won't be using Hi-MD renderer anymore)greetings, Volta←
dex Otaku
Once you convert to WAV you can do as you wish with your tracks. WAV itself is not DRM'd.
