blazer78
they don't sound so well... used it with my sony mzr-501 and there is hardly any bass.. the sound is muffled... is that normal for these types of earphones?

blazer78
After listening to them for a while.. they seem to be okay.. just not used to the flat sound. I was using tje Philips HE250 earphones before, those seemed to have better highs, but it could just be me.Perhaps these eaphones are just too good for my ears Would anyone happen to have a review for these earphones? sony_man
well, the no bass part, can u actually noyice the loss compared to your other heapdhones? if not, than you're just hearing the same sound signature. i dont know what the muffling could be. the only reason maybe that you couldve put them in wrong. but who puts earbuds in the wrong way
blazer78
lol, i may have to review these earphones... ok, i've compared it to the Sony MDR-7506 and the stock sony buds that come with my MZR-501 and the Philips HE250The 7506, being a studio headphone is a good control as to what music should sound like. the highs were not muffled on the 7506, but were slightly muffled on the mdr-ed51Philips HE250 has clear and crisp highs and bass (sounds like compressed bass, not natural). Comapring the philips to the 7506, it clearly lacks midrange, however the highs, seem to be good (maybe over emphasised?).and the stock sony buds... well they don't sound good at all.maybe i need to get used to the mdr-ed51's but it does seem have very good midrange and bass. The lows are audible even at low volumes. The highs on the other hand sound a bit muffled. (when someone singing tries to break out a "ss" sound you can tell its slightly muffled). However, cymbols, triangles and any other instrument likely to produce a high, sounded very clear on the mdr-ed51's. Strange... maybe my ears need a break in period Overall, having gotton more used to these earphones, they don't seem to be bad at all, they come with a killer package, including this nice and neat leather pouch for your earphones, how nice.
