Weaves
I just saw this on AV Watch today. It looks like a new boombox from JVC going on sale Sep 1. Still only MDLP. --> New Victor.JVC Clavia RC-L1MD Weavesp.s. I tried to include the babelfish version, but it didn't work. Can the moderators help? Christopher
Thanks, Ishii. That looks like a decent unit, perhaps a good one for the aspiring novice's girlfriend..bah, can't really justify it.What is this "sound lifter", though? Another way of stating you can add an echo, like VPT Acoustic Engine, etc

Another way of stating you can add an echo, like VPT Acoustic Engine, etc←According to Victor.JVC, "sound lifter" is a feature used to create surround sound so to speak; as illustrated in the picture in the preceding posts. As for its VPT Acoustic Engine equivalent, the Clavia: RC-L1MD employs Victor.JVC's alpha sound engine.

Really don't need a cassette player but I might take a look at the black one. I guess it will be on Audiocubes or fleabay soon enough. Still wish it had Hi-MD playback... gem
there's an engadget post on that.supposedly the “Sound Lifter” "points the speakers’ output up in an effort to enhance sound quality should you place the system somewhere low such as your floor". i'm not so sure what that means and stuff. heheh.
