Sony 980, and just bought a Rh10 so here's my first RH 10 ? I downloded a podcast MP3 file {MPEG 4 file in think} tried to download to RH10 and got a can't play message. keyboarder Posted August 23, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 Solved the problem, (user error again)Still can't play podcast MP3s, but when i converted the file to ATRAC i had to go in and delete the MP3 file and leave the ATRAC file, i was still tring to transfer the old MP3. Richard Posted August 26, 2005 Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 (edited) Still can't play podcast MP3s, ←As Atrain says you need to check the bit-rate and encoding of the podcast mp3 file. A lot of podcasts (but not all) are recorded as mpeg-2 audio layer 3. The 2nd gen HI-MD will only play back mpeg-1 audio layer 3.
