bsg
I'm the owner of a brand new MZ-RH10,when I record a CD from my computer to MD, most tracks soundgreat, but some have drop outs, clicks and pops. I'm using Simple Burner 2.0, recording in Hi-SP.I can erase and re-record the CD, this sometimes helps. My system is Windows 98SE, Pentium III 500Mhz256MB RAM, Sony PCG-F540. Thanks in advance! greenmachine
Your cd/dvd-rom drive seems not to be suited for audio cd ripping and/or your cds might be dirty/scratched.
atrain
with low end specs like this please ensure you have nothing else [anti virus, firewall, games, whatever] running in the background.
The Low Volta
you could always try to rip the music with Exact Audio Copy in advance (to wav then import in SS or mount as an image), as it is much better suited for ripping music without any errors... but then again, I dunno if EAC will work with those specs
not worth asking
you could always try to rip the music with Exact Audio Copy in advance (to wav then import in SS or mount as an image), as it is much better suited for ripping music without any errors... but then again, I dunno if EAC will work with those specsmy computer was running ss 2.1 and EAC perfectly fine and it was a Celeron 233 with only 64mb ram running Win 98 then later XP pro, so i think those "low end" specs they've got will do just fine

not worth asking
Oh yes Kurisu, i would LOVE to upgrade to SS 3.2 or 3.3, but my computers at home don't have an internet connection and the stand alone installers have all failed due to some problem with direct x drivers. The only interent access i have is it uni and at friends houses, and i really can't be bothered taking my machines on public transport to a friends house and back just to update SS.I just bought a brand new Hi-MD nh1 a week ago, and guess what? they still package it with SS 2.1, fantastic eh?
