WaywardTraveller
Hello all,A while back I remember reading (in MD newsletters, I think) about some blessed individual who took the pains to write an app that will help calculate the space left on an MD when uploading albums of the same or different compressions. I've looked and looked and haven't been able to find it....can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!(PS Am I the only one who gets frustrated over the fact that the 2h20m/2h10m limits on a normal MD with 256kbps are JUST SLIGHTLY NOT ENOUGH to contain 2-disc albums? )peaceWaywardTraveller

Richard
use Simple Burner... it has this feature built in Although I've noticed that SB can be inaccurate towards the end of a disc. A couple of times when according to it's calculations I should have been able to fit on the last track I have had to put it on in a lower bitrate, so I would subtract about 4 minutes or so from the figure displayed by Simple Burner. The Low Volta
^^^^could be that SB ignores the 2 MB data requirement (ofr the titles etc...) needed when using HiMD-format
