Well I got the same deal, the plastic wrapping around the battery looks dodgy as does the box in which the wall charger came in, add that to the fact that the charger says its meant for the nh-10wm or something like that. I dunno. I suppose better have a battery expand in the wall charger than in the unit itself (which has happened to my r909 once-had to pull it out with a pair of pliars).
