Audio books/File Ordering in Connect Player

I have several audio books I wish to play on my A608, however I am getting very frustrasted with Connect player. Regardless of which order I create the files in the playlist they seem to be always rearranged when I copy them onto the A608. This is ok with music but with audio books it is driving me crazy...

Any ideas anyone? Thank you.

I am not sure this answers your question but...

tracks can be set as you wish by changing track #.

You can change track number for each song by viewing property of that song and simply typing track number in the track number section. And this will rearrange your songs (if artist name differs by little within the album, then this will not let it arrange in song track number. so make sure artist name for each song is same).

although this is a run around and doesnt solve the actual issue, find what criteria it sorts them under, and then use that to rename that particular field of each track so they go in alphabetical (or numerical) order...

Like Zizone mentioned, change the names of the album/artist so they are the same, and then reorder the track names to the order you want the audio books into, will always work and hasn't failed for me yet.

also put numbers in the actual track title so it looks like

01 Track 1 Title

02 Track 2 Title

that way they will be sorted alphabetically.

make sure you have the 2.01 firmware as it would appear that older versions don't rank tracks based on the idtag track number
