greenmachine
http://www.rarewares.org/ogg.htmlYou know that Hi-MD can't play/decode/read these, don't you? All you can do is to use it in data mode.

raintheory
All you need is something that will decode it to WAV and then import the WAV into SonicStage to transfer to HiMD.
greenmachine
My mistake. I thought he/she was talking about encoding. Maybe i should read more carefully. Anyway you can also find decoders there.

raintheory
You can use the freeware audio editing program Audacity to convert the files, it also has plenty of other audio editing features. Converting to WAV with Audacity should be pretty straight-forward though, just open the OGG file and save as WAV.You can download it from the downloads section of these forums or from the website: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
A440
Dbpoweramp, the all-purpose converter, is also in Downloads. Might be a little faster than Audacity, and you can do a bunch at a time.
ATELETRONICS
i will try it later tonight. thanks.

Skradgee
Additionally, you can use the file writing plug-in with Winamp to write WAV files, then convert the files to atrac for MD listening.
ATELETRONICS
i went home and tried it last night.it worked good. the files converted fine but i installed the bdpoweramp program and it made changes to my windows explorer to provide more info on the audio file when my mouse passes over it. it's very annoying can someone please tell me how to turn it off. i dont need all that extra file information. Skradgee
To each his/her own, but I like being able to see that extra information by mousing over the files. I suppose you would have to uninstall the program to make that go away.
