Uploading Pre-recorded MDs

Is there anyway to upload a pre-recorded MD? I have a movie soundtrack Minidisc and i want to upload some of the songs to SS 3.3, but I get disc protected messages. is there any software that will decode or "unprotect" the disc? Thanks.

The player itself will decode the content in realtime, which can be captured by your soundcard's input. USB upload is not possible (yet).

No, that's the point of the DRM. There is nothing actually that can upload even self-recorded SP tracks, so don't expect any software for copyrighted materials.

EDIT : Greenmachine has been quicker. You can try analog as he suggested.

To upload prerecorded md without any quality loss, I do this:

1)play the prerecorded with a home md deck (JA20ES or other) which have optical output.

2)record with himd in pcm mode

3)uplooad to your pc with ss 3.4

very simple!!

Yes, there are! you can only copy via analogue. I guess that's what I'll have to do.

SS 3.4 removed the restriction so you can now copy digital recorded Hi-MD's into SS and convert to WAV. SS 3.3 still has this restriction though

You might need a copy protection stripper in the digital MD -> Hi-MD transfer, or find a deck that removes it for you.
