DRM dilemma

I read about transfering a file from Hi-MD to the computer, and older versions of SonicStage putting a license or DRM on the file.

My system crashed and I had to reinstall everything (the wave I had converted to only saved audio for the first 23 of 92 minutes).

Is there any way possible to read the .oma file? I do not have the original MD, only the resulting .oma file. Has anyone ever recovered a "protected" file?

Thanks.

doesn't M3U2SB need SS installed (or parts thereof) to work? I really do not think it actually avoids using SS ... a bit OT, but I was wondering about that

AFAIK, M3U2SB is just automating Simple Burner, but daithi wants to upload a recording, not transfer from the PC.

There is no way to recover a 'protected' file that I known, but SonicStage 3.4 might let you re-upload the recording (remove the previous file first).

And also try recording with Audacity/TotalRecorder on your PC.
