Track order on HI-MD media

i have been trying to send several small tracks to a HI-MD media disk. however, i cannot seem to organize the tracks (SS 3.4) inside the software without manually selecting each track and sending it to the device (mz-rh10).

i would like to be able to send all of the files at one time to the device in order. i have no problems with my other software (i.e. wm player, musicmatch) and they seem to be able to keep the tracks in their original order without manipulating each individual track. all tracks are corectly tagged and numbered.

is there some problem with ss that i will be forced to do each track seperately..?? (i'm talking about 1000+ tracks)

any help here would be appreciated.

You can burn your order of tracks on a CD or virtual drive with nero in PCM form.

Then copy to MD with simple burner or SStage.

If they are organized into albums via the tags, the best way is probably to change your view in Sonic Stage to Albums / Playlists from the drop-down on the left of the My Library area. Having done this select all the albums you wish to send to the device at once, by holding down ctrl if necessary and transfer.

This will send all albums across with the tracks in the right order.

Note to mods: move to Software Forum?

this might work, but this view gives me all tracks with no order, except in album title format. all tracks in that album title are not in order. when i select the track # tab to put the tracks in order it puts ALL tracks by that artist in order regardless of their album title. so that is my problem. i am forced to select each track individually in that album title to put them in the correct order. this is taking entirely too long.

any other ideas...??

umm.. ya... as i stated.. i have literally 1000+ tracks to do this with... nice idea.... but do you want to supply the media...?? or the time...??

Sonicstage can import playlist (*.m3u) files.

Did you try this way ? Don't know if it works.
