danielbb90
Does anyone know when this will be realeased? I used to use the aac format, but I had little use for it besides playback in winamp...Now I might move back to useing it!
pata2001
No, there is NO such thing as Apple's AAC. AAC is a standard, also used by Nero. The only Apple about the tracks from iTMS is Apple's fairplay DRM, and since Apple will not license fairplay to anyone, no other devices can playback tracks bought from iTMS other than iPods. This means the next SS will support non-iTMS/non-protected AAC.
ZosoIV
AAC is NOT Apple's audio codec, as pointed out above. This seems to be a common error made on this board. "AAC" = Advanced Audio Codec, an international standard which is subset of MPEG-4, just like "MP3" = MPEG-1 Layer 3 audio.
Sony_Fan
Sorry, but until there is an official release of SS 4.0 in the U.S., I'm not interested. Until there is a release of the RH1 in the U.S., I'm not interested either.
