352Kbit Atrac3Plus not working on NW-A series?

Hi guys,

right now I still own the NW-HD5 walkman and I am extremely satisfied. Especially that stunning battery life is blowing my mind. Well, I told my wife that I would like to have a NW-A series walkman as a birthday present

for my birthday in april. I am a sound-fanatic person, I am afraid. I ripped all my CDs again in Atrac3Plus 352Kbit and I am deeply impressed by the sound quality. Now I noticed that the new walkman would not be able to play back these files... can you confirm this?

352kbps works fine with NW-A3000, but you can only rip 352kbps files with sonicstage, connect player only goes up to 320.

256 should be more than enough though,

Also that few settings such as Artist Link & Intelligent shuffle will not work with SonicStage ..

The latest update of Connect Player allows ripping at 352kps

352 kbps works great on my nw-a1000.

personally i prefer 352kbps over 256kbps, since i can honestly tell difference between these two rates.
