doomlordis
Just got silver DH10P, love the sound quality but after 2 hours of music playback (and took 1 photo) it is showing 3/4 empty , however i left it playing on shuffle and it lasted another 8.5 hours! 3 of them showing flashing!Anyway moan over , the unit is very solid and after hacking is very very loud , interestingly my rh710 did not increase in volume after hacking, i suspect this is due to it being a Europe only unit , the equalizers are added by using dest code 24 but no volume increase. jonny mac
Congrats on the new purchase. The battery situation could just be because the battery is new. Give another charge/discharge cycle and it may settle down. Having said that, my NH900 can go for ages (several hours) on the last battery bar and quite a while with the battery bar flashing. If I remember correctly, doomlordis, you're in Edinburgh. I'd be interested in where you got your DH10P and how much you paid for it... Edited September 14, 2006 by jonny mac
Stuge
Just got silver DH10P, love the sound quality but after 2 hours of music playback (and took 1 photo) it is showing 3/4 empty , however i left it playing on shuffle and it lasted another 8.5 hours! 3 of them showing flashing!Do what Jonny has said ,but i must say that battery life of DH10P is really poor .Like if you take seven -eight snaps the battery meter will show 3/4 battery left .Usually ,I get 7-8 hours of battery life (When i'm not using its camera )
greenmachine
The meter will go down during power consumption peaks, like display on, using the camera, jumping between tracks, fast forwarding, etc. It should go back to normal when in normal use. unignal
I always know that the battery life is poor, but I was amazed when I managed to take 100 photos over a period of 7 hours (on and off) during Sngapore's National Day in one single charge.Pretty close to Sony's estimation of 110 photos.
