Selco
Hi, I was wondering if there is someone who can help me on a JVC XM-C37 mdlp player.I saw an article here: http://uk.gizmodo.com/2005/12/07/the_minid...ouldnt_die.html And I like it a lot but I can’t find any information about it let alone bay one. It even doesn’t stand on minidisc.org. Any info/suggestion is welcome.
bland10000
Not much info to say about the c37 as it is like all other mdlp units but with a longer cell life. The 300+ hours is based upon using the internal cell along with the external pack and the recorded bitrates are at a minimum, 48kbps. There is a Victor unit with even longer cell life than the c37, the c31.
poe
Hey bland1000 I thought 48kbs was HIMD only. Shouldn't it be 66kbps(LP4)? POE
bland10000
Probably so, I never use those codecs so I don't think much about which format they belong to. Now that you mention it, the number 64 or 66 or 68 does come to mind for what lp4 is. Edited February 10, 2007 by bland10000
