greenmachine
None of the listed recorders are HiMD. HiMD offers some significant advantages such as digital upload via USB, larger capacity disks, an uncompressed recording mode, longer recording times where necessary, etc.. The least expensive HiMD model with full functionality for live recording is probably the MZ-NH700 (or NFH800 which is essentially the same unit with a radio remote), which i use myself and highly recommend. A440
If the models you mention are your ONLY AVAILABLE choices, the one to get is the MZ-N710. It is the only one that has a microhone-in jack. The others have a line-in jack that needs a stronger, amplified signal--not just a microphone. Look on any unit for a RED jack. That is a microphone jack. A white jack is line-in, for recording from your stereo or other amplified source. Here is a page with all the models of minidisc. Look at the any model you can find and look under Connectors to make sure there is a microphone jack. http://minidisc.org/equipment_browser.html With anything that is not Hi-MD--that does not begin with MZ-NH* or MZ-RH*--the only way to get the recording off the minidisc is to record it again, in real time, from out of the headphone jack. That's why I also recommend the MZ-NH700 if there is any way you can get one. See if these people will ship to Ukraine.http://www.minidiscaccess.com/item.html?PRID=1553219

King Ghidora
I also use first generation HIMD which records at the same quality as the latest and greatest HIMD recorders but the price is about half or less than the latest. There are still places selling new MZ-NH700 and NFH800 models. I've seen them sell on eBay for arund $75 but that's getting rare now. The price is usually over $125. There was a place selling a lot of first gen. HIMD models which quoted me a price of $120 without having to go through eBay. I can PM you their email address if you want. I wouldn't want to post it in an open forum.Another big advantage of the first gen recorders is that they operate on AA batteries. Some would argue that the gumsticks used in later models are better but I like being able to buy batteries at any gas station or 7/11. Plus of course you can use rechargeables that you can buy anywhere also.
