fstg
I have a few minidisc. My last acquisition works very irregularly. After a certain amount of time, it reset's itself to 1. Never the same. I carry a MZ-NH1 in my pocket for many days without this problem. As anyone ever experienced the same issue? The battery length never reaches the length of play Sony says. About half the time to my my experience. Normal or not?thanksFernand
Avrin
What do you mean by "resets itself to 1"? If this means that the unit resets to the first track, then the Eject buton was inadvertently pressed a bit - not enough to eject the disc, but enough to reset the unit.As for the battery length - try leaving the unit charging overnight. I think I had the same issue with the unit laying on a desk. I have sent back the unit to the dealer, but my gilrfriend has a new.Regarding the issue I have with the battery, I've tried different techniques. Sometimes It does not even charge when I plug it the first time. The same answer could apply if the opening button is to sensitive. In this manner, everytime the button is touched, it reset to the first track and at the same time read all the content over and over again. carlesraf
I have this message on display once "low battery" and the unit wont charge..... (with one MD inserted), but after ejecting the disc and repluging the charger to AC it started to charge fine. It's normal that bat don't have the expected runig time that vendors says, cause this idications are based on optimals conditions ei, display of, MD instead of Hi-MD.... that normaly it don't happen...but you can improve the battery live with this generals rules:-Charging the battery only when runt out (so if you conect the unit to computer unplug the bat to prevent that bat starts to charge)-If you don't use the unit for a long time, quit the bat and stores on a dry and dark place, and at 50 % of this capacity
The Low Volta
but you can improve the battery live with this generals rules:hmm, a game of 'true or false' -If you don't use the unit for a long time, quit the bat and stores on a dry and dark place, and at 50 % of this capacitytrue! (for Li-ION batteries like the RH1)-Charging the battery only when runt out (so if you conect the unit to computer unplug the bat to prevent that bat starts to charge)aw, false! this one is only true for NiMH batteries and NOT for Li-ION ones like the RH1...Li-ION can be recharged whenever you feel like it, and they must not be discharged completely if possible.for info on (different sorts of) batteries I find this to be a very useful source
