Public Apology

I recently got in a needless spat with one of your beloved contributers that resulted in a lot of insults being tossed about and the thread being deleted. Although I think that GuitarFX got a bit too sensitive about the whole matter.. I too got a bit too sensitive and did antagonize him somewhat in reaction to what I believed to be arrogance regarding his years of experience.

Sometimes I get a bit of a knee-jerk reaction when I feel like I'm being insulted. I need to learn to take some of the flippant forum comments with little more than a grain of salt and not react so hastily.

Reacting like this is not normally in my nature. And I sincerely apologize for any ill-will I inadvertantly AND intentionally caused Mr. GuitarFX. I'm sorry he decided to leave your site, as he did seem like a very good knowledge resource. I hope that he will read this and reconsider rejoining your community. I never intended to cause anyone to feel like they needed to leave your community based on anything I wrote. Again, to all and to Mr. GuitarFX... I sincerely, apologize.

Skip , .... the FIRST thing you typed ,.... The VeRY first words from you , were antagonistic . and yet you claim that you were "Reacting to something I said to you "

I didnt even KNOW YOU ........ " Man this guy is really Slammin the Zoom ... and then with the type of questioning proceed to indicate that you felt I had no idea what I was talking about ......... You CAME here insulting .

I had every intent on giving a complete , thourough , technical and real world presentation of the H2 , not a hyped up "Hey this is the NEW THING ...GET IT NOW " kind of review .

The technical material , and nature of the post, had you taken the time to actually read it , would have told you that I have a fair knowledge of sound equipment. But You DIDNT read it , you Skimmed , saw what you wanted , and Blasted me , without having any idea what I was saying .

and you call me arrogant !!!!!!!!!!!! wow . making statements , like " He is a Teacher ??? Boy I am glad I am not one of HIS students "

I got a message that someone took the time to defend me , I read the post at oreilly ,,

Old School huh? guess I will have to accept that , I come from a place where when someone had some history , you gave them the proper space for it .

Ok guys - Basta!!!!

You had an argument, Ishii asked and I asked you to play nicely. Skip has made a public apology. Whether you think that is geniune or not is up to you. Guitarfxr - I suggest if you really want to have the last word you can do so via PM.

We had to take your review down as you edited out all the text and rendered the original thread useless. If you would like it re-instated please feel free to send us another copy.
