mangizmo
Have just recieved yet another Hi-MD player (we have 3)...I happen to be quite happy using Sonic Stage, I know how to make it do what I want and I think its OK Just had a horrible thought, read somewher that Sony is ditching ATRAC, SS now supports Vista, what happens after that ??, (that could only be a couple of years)...any opinions, have Sony made any commitments in this regard?...thanks

Even though I'm still using Windows XP, I hear that Vista can run in earlier "modes," if you will, even Windows 95... That said, I'll bet we could still run Sonic Stage for quite some time. There's also the idea of saving one old PC or laptop strictly for Sonic Stage use.I love Sonic Stage too. I just hope the Gracenote connection still works after Connect is pulled. I just hope the Gracenote connection still works after Connect is pulled. That will be a key point for MD survivors. If Gracenote doesnt work and CoonectWell there is no "if" about Connect, that's dying officially March '08. But I would think gracenote is independent of Connect.
