Onkyo UD-5 USB to Optical Adapor, 5.1 Digital sound from your PC!

This very cool device changes a USB plug on your PC into an optical digital output, allowing you to listen to the DVD's, BLU-Ray and music files through the digital input on your stereo.It makes DVD's especially sound much better in digital format as opposed to the analog output of most PC's.Comes complete in box with optical cable, all packaging, instructions and software!

The best part about this unit is that you can play copy protected CD's in your CD-rom drive, but by the time the sound goes through this optical adapter, the copy protection will disappear, so you can make digital copies onto MD no problem!

This may (?) be perfect for Hi-MD>Hi-MD or MD>MD duplication if you want to go that far. Just hook up your RH1 (or other Hi-MD equivalent) to the USB and put this in between and end it with another Hi-MD Walkman (or Hi-MD deck for you Onkyo MD-105FX/133 owners) and voila!.... perfect digital>digital copies of you Hi-MDs without either that crappy DRM or SCMS!

Or, does Onkyo have its own store where we can get planty of them?

Onkyo don't make this unit anymore.It was a 2004 only model.Anyways, pm me and we can do a deal! Jeremy
