remy117
Not sure if this is old news, but I found that minidiscaccess.com is selling the sharp dr80 for 289.99 imported.Anyone know if this is a good deal?I'm looking into stocking another md player just in case my rh1 dies on me... but I can also get another rh1 for 389.99...so which should i go? I dont use hi-md at all since my car player only takes mdlp...
zahne
I know little about NetMD but you don't use the Hi-MD aspect of Hi-MD devices then I'd steer away from it entirely. As far as going for the Net MD, I'm sure someone will chime in. Edited June 15, 2009 by zahne
Azureal
Not sure if this is old news, but I found that minidiscaccess.com is selling the sharp dr80 for 289.99 imported.Anyone know if this is a good deal?I picked up a new in box DR80 on eBay about three months ago for $140US including shipping. That price seems high to me.I'm looking into stocking another md player just in case my rh1 dies on me... but I can also get another rh1 for 389.99...so which should i go? brian10161
I checked that player out and it seems pretty good. The only thing I think is it's a bit steep price wise for a player with those features, but because it's so hard to find new ones now, it problem isn't too bad.If you are looking for another player to have as a backup, check out Ebay. I see a lot of brand new players (older models) still sealed going pretty cheap.I just picked up 2 MZ-R70's for 130 bucks on Ebay with 10 minidiscs (still sealed), 3 mics, and a bunch of other things. Some good value packs out there
LonelyMachines
Good folks at MiniDiscAccess, but the price is on the high side. That said, they may have paid more for the units, just to be able to make them available. The DR80 has been out of production for a few years now.
